I BEAT WORLD 1-1 IN 32 SECONDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDS

Hey, are you gonna reply onto any comments?...

It's a great game that makes up for the shortcomings of the prequels by being incredibly secure! You can adventure to so many different places and the story is rich, but the acorns are hard, so I watched other videos to find them...! A really good game in many ways!

great game and I enjoyed playing it!

Btw

How about you make a rage game?

or… you can’t do that?

This Happened in 1-1

That happened to me, too.

Now, this, is epic.

I Was A Fan Of Brad's Previous Work On Scratch. And When He Moved To Unity I Was Ecstatic. This Game...

IS BRILLIANT !! The controls are smooth and nice to play and I love the characters and the creative cartoony visuals

Pretty good. The only issue pretty much is how the depth perception can be wonky a lot, leading to a lot of unfair deaths, which I believe is something present throughout the past two games and I'm suprised it wasn't addressed here. The camera could of rotated when it needs to, but no.  Although the extra shadows help. The level design is the best it has ever been. So many creative ideas, and the game is pretty long too. I had fun, including the two boss fights. Speedruning is pretty fun too. Love the art too. A sandbox pit is so creative for a desert world, and the boss being in a little sand castle.

Also, can you upload the OST on to Youtube?

Thank you for the feedback and kind words! :) Yeah the depth perception can definitely be a little wonky. In my next game you will have full control over the camera for sure. I do plan on uploading the OST to YouTube pretty soon.

Do you know that this is on coolmathgames

Yes!

Adorable and excellent, great job on the art, levels, and music!!

Thanks so much! :D

dang it looks cool

Hey!

hello! :D

HI!

Looks good! Quick question - Are you ever going to make a remake of Paper Brad, Brad's Tennis Challenge, or any of your other less popular Scratch games? Because I, personally, see a lot of potential in these older ideas.

I am working on a game based on one of my older Scratch games right now, but I can't say which one just yet.

this game is so broken i can't

No Is Not

You should make the next game introduce some more characters so you can do a kart racer

epik

flying frog go flyyyyyyyyyy

Whoa, I've never seen that bug before xD

This is a very good game but after beating level 5-1 you just reused the first two levels that was very lame... and after collecting all 15 acorns nothing happens :(

(If you are on level 5-1, start the speedrun in the menu and then exit in the 3rd level you appear on level 5-3 in the main game, which can be played for an acorn and you can move back to 5-2 where the same can be done)

Here are all out of Bounds clips I found:

1-3 Get into the watering can, walk up and spam jump. You should then clip out of bounds. If you then go back to the beginning of the level, walk below the first grass blades, and jump, moving down and back up to scale the grass indefinitely. After a while, you can jump back in bounds or onto the wall and explore a bit.

2-1 Stand on the rising rock in front of the acorn and let it rise to the maximum. Then jump perfectly to the highest platform, where you will only stand on a small piece of ground. Jump perfectly up again and you will be able to get out of bounds. There you can explore and with another really good jump get onto the red bounding walls of the sandpit.

3-2 You need to be in the area after the checkpoint and walk to the key up ahead. But you don't go to the right but to the left after collecting the key. You will then again stand on a small sliver of ground and jump around moving in small intervals up and down until you stand in the air. Then just repeat everything that I described in the 1-3 infinite height glitch but move right and left instead of down and up while jumping. You will come across a floating cage if you do this right. When you feel you are high enough jump somewhere, where you want to go. If there isn't an infinite wall you will get out of bounds or maybe in the cage, I haven't tried that yet.

4-3 I stole this clip from -GameDevIsTaken-:

Sadly I haven't found one for World 5 :(

Anyway, thank you for reading this TEXT WALL OF DEATH.

Well well well.

I've just found an out of bounds clip in

5-1 In the first glider section two grass blades cross each other left-up from the glider. Run into the grass blades that stretch along the entire gliding section from a point of view where you can't see the blades due to the perspective. Jump into them and you will float. You know what to do now right? Well infinite scaling is way easier if you jump back and forth. After some time just fly over the wooden fences on the bottom. If you are high enough you can fly a really long time into other sections.

Every world has an out of bounds clip...

I can confirm that the next game did, in fact, treat me better. First off, the platforming is well-designed and great for speedrunning. To be honest, it's one of the only games I've tried to speedrun, along with Mario Scratch 4. Most of the deaths in the game felt like they were my fault rather than the game messing up. The UI and environments in this game are also a step up compared to the ones in the second game. Also, on the second game, this game was actually enjoyable compared to the mess that was Island Hopper. Polly plays very fast and has a double jump, which is great for correcting jumps and speedrunning. Not to mention, the new Glider and whatever the can is called adds variety and spices up the level design, making it actually fun to play instead of boring and annoying like the other games. The camera isn't bullshit like the other games too, and the drop shadow, though a bit small, is still great at the very least. I'm glad that most of the flaws from the second game were fixed and improved on, and they definitely paid off. It takes a real one to not only take feedback but also improve upon and make the game better. Good job.

But there are still some glaring flaws, like the difficulty on the last level being more bullshit than actually fair. Some parts are just cheap, like the one-level platforming at the beginning, and after you complete that, you have a long way till the next checkpoint. So if you die, well, too bad. I can see what you're going for, but you might want to examine it a little bit. There is this saying that if it's just the right difficulty for you, then it's probably too hard for the player. But one thing that is just no excuse for is definitely the Billy Bicther boss fight. That fight is pure ass. All the fight is, is just running around in circles and hopefully landing a shot which, most of the time, either goes backward because you have to turn around a second time for it to actually face Billy. Not to mention, most of the shots feel like they don't make a hit because there is no health bar or physical damage on Billy Bullfrog, which especially sucks because on his second phase, there is no difference in appearance between phases, so it feels pointless. And at least add two heart containers or whatever they're called at the second phase, which is just a harder repeat of the first. But even after beating the boss, it feels a little bit anticlimactic since it just kind of ended, especially since Polly's "beloved fiancé" Lurn didn't speak any line of dialogue during the ending or the entire game, for that matter. I don't know how Lurn even got Polly, for that matter. Maybe Lurn has unlimited Rizz or something. idk I'm not playing the second game to find out. But either way, Polly the Frog 3 is an amazing game and way better than any Polly the Frog game and most of the games you made. I can really tell that the game has effort and passion baked into it, and I'm glad you took all the time you needed to make the game. You're a real one, Brad.

LURN MOMMENT

Thanks for your constructive criticism! I can't argue with anything you've said here, I'll definitely try to improve upon and fix this kind of stuff in my next game. Lurn definitely has unlimited rizz, though. 😳
