What are you still working on?

Still working on Polly 3, however I've taken a short break from it as I'm moving houses right now.

Are you a teen?

And are you living in a family?

I don't want to reveal my exact age, but yes I am living with my family currently. Also, I'm not quite sure when Polly 3 will be released, but I'm hoping sometime before the end of this year.

THis game would be amazing! I'm looking forward to playing it! I saw your develop log of it on scratch.

When is polly the frog 3 going to be released?

An excellent follow-up, thanks for making and sharing this!

Thanks for playing! :)

Hi Brad-Games! How did you get this background and this font?

:I have a question to ask you:

Can you Teach me how to make

 2D animation controller in unity?

Are you still working on Polly the frog 3?

I am, although I've been having a lot of problems in real life recently, so I probably won't be working much on it until after August. :/

Sounds pretty dissapointing to me but only one month or two until its finished. Hope you try your best just keep working on it, the more how much  you do with it, the more you get it great to be played.

oh and I saw some of Polly the frog 3 and the level menu looked so amazing I really want to play this game.

Sounds pretty dissapointing to me but only one month or two until its finished. Hope you try your best just keep working on it, the more how much  you do with it, the more you get it great to be played.

Polly the frog 2 is the coolest.

sugguestion: add shadows, when the mario 64 developers had trouble traversing a 3d world, they added shadows to mario and the enemies.

Hi there! The game actually does have shadows, but they were removed in the browser version for performance. There are shadows in the downloadable version of the game, which I recommend all people to play instead.

what if our computer does not support downloadable games

Are you talking about Chromebooks? I’m pretty sure those support running the Linux versions. Otherwise, my suggestion is to get a real computer :).

Not everyone has access to one

That’s why I said to get one. Chromebooks, smartphones, anything of the sort is completely disabled compared to a PC.

Well, SM64 in particular used a circle sprite for its shadows.

About time you left scratch, huh.

This is a really fun game! It seems like this is what you would get if you mushed Paper Mario, Crash Bandicoot, and a frog together.

crashBandicoot????

you can moon walk in this one two and i acsdently delete all my progerese dangit

billie jean is not my lover

This is great, you should put your next game onto the app store

Hello Brad-Games I want to ask you something through email.

Hello Brad-Games, I am a big fan of you on scratch an itch.io. Do you think you'll ever make a mario game again? The ones you made on scratch are more than awesome. Also, when do you think polly the frog 3 will be done? Also, downloading games on this website does not work for me, but I really want to play ultra cube land. Is there another way to play it?

If you do get back in to mario a 3d one would be cool.

Chances are I will make a 3D Mario fan-game eventually. I'm just not sure when since I can't animate 3D models yet. And Polly 3 will come out in a few months most likely. It's going quite well. :P The only way to play Ultra Cube Land is by downloading it, however you'd be wasting your time since it's super short and pretty bad.

Ok, thank you

And it is downloading .bin Files when I download the Android version

Hi there! If that happens, then try downloading the Android version on a different device and emailing it to yourself. Open the email on your phone and then download the file and install it. Also make sure you go into your system settings and make sure "Installs from unknown publishers" is enabled.

Hi why don't you Upload the game to Google Play Store? I would download this instantly!

Uploading to the Google Play Store costs money, so I can't quite afford that right now. I'll definitely consider it in the future though.

What about Kickstarter or Patreon for the fans?

(+1)

I'm trying to avoid soliciting money from my fans for as long as possible. I'd like to really get better at Unity and have lots more games out before I even try that. :P

Or ask They have for new Devs Special Offers as far I know

Nice! This is 27NDS27 from scratch :D

i love this it takes the original game and turns the background into 3d!

(1 edit) (-1)

this game too hard add chekpoints now

(-1)

i need checkpoints

(1 edit) (-1)

game too hard

Doesn't work for me, even though I downloaded it.

(1 edit)

What OS are you using, and did you download the correct version and follow the install instructions correctly?

(1 edit)

I am using chrome OS and I actually couldn't download other the other two. I followed the instructions very carefully.

Oh, unfortunately there is no Chrome OS version of this game. :/ Only Windows, Linux and Android. If you have a Windows or Linux computer somewhere to use or an Android phone, you could download it there, but otherwise there isn't any way to download this game for you. Sorry about that.

Oh, well. I hope to be able to play it sometime. :)

Love game! its super fun!

It took 56 minutes to beat the game on my first try (I died a lot on level 5), also I was screen recording the whole thing. I'm going to post that on YouTube (same name).

it erased my progress 4 some reason

Polly the Frog 3: City Hopper

i mean that's not a bad idea for a concept

hi!

Hi there!

Im a fan of yours! :D You're dooing great!!!

Thank you :)

Polly The Frog 4: Frogmania (I couldn't think)

polly the frog 89: toy story

Nice game! It is better than the first one,but is there a sea shell in the secret level? =:)

There actually is no sea shell in the secret level, as the sea shells are required to unlock it. :P

Noice

its good but please add shadows

Hi there! There are actually shadows in this game, however they're only visible in the downloadable version, as they had to be removed for the browser version in order to perform better.

oh ok sorry

sonic spike

good and fun

best game no regrets

Just played through this, really really good! Couple of thoughts:

1. A blob shadow below the sprites would make it easier to gauge depth, and would make some of the jumps easier.

2. There appears to be a bug where gravity keeps accelerating you down when you are ion the floor, so if you don't jump and then walk off a cliff you drop downwards at the speed of light.

Also, one question, is there a shell on the secret level? I wasn't able to find one yet.

Thanks, great job!

same

Amazing sequel! I love the added gameplay mechanics and improved level design! I also love the models!

it wont load-

(1 edit)

The HTML5 Browser version of the game requires a reasonably powerful computer to run. I'd recommend downloading it for the best experience. (If you don't want to download it, you could try using a different browser. Still no guarantee it'll load/run well though.)

it worked for me :T

If you're playing the browser version, try clearing your cookies. If that doesn't work, I can't help you, sorry.

Hiiii, I've made a video about the game and wanted to share some feedback about it, hopefully it is useful to you ^^

-The concept of the game is really good :D

-The visual style is very good and gives me some N64 vibes :D

-The gameplay mechanics are really good, but you need to adress some problems with the gravity as the character falls immediately while not jumping between platforms.

-Making the angle of the camera wider on the "cars section" could be a good idea as it's too hard to get through as you can not see the cars coming easily.

Hopefully this is useful to you :D, also if you could subscribe that would help me a lot :)

Regards

All these mechanics and you finished it so fast… :O The mechanics are really cool. I left a review explaining what I found to be inconvenient or off, but other than what is stated there I love this game. Can I ask where you got the tongue sound?

Sorry for late response. Thanks for the feedback! And I actually made the tongue sound in a program called beepbox. :P

Oh, nice! I use Beepbox frequently, usually for short little tunes to use as select sounds.

*I have beaten every level *

On mobile, in the first level you can still hear the sea, even when i turned off my phone's screen the sea sound was still here, it was driving me crazy. And this "when falling, teleport" still exists, other than that. Nothying bad, music on PC (without this stuppid sea) is fun, well fitting, just great, I mean I can listen to it even without playing the game.

I am happy that you added coins and attack, oh and crouch, although pressing Q or X is pretty annoying when moving with WSAD. And sometimes it is hard to feel depth, but it is normal in this graphic style.

YOu can only see on which levels you collected sea shells on fullscreen and not on normal window (at least in browser)

The game is not that difficult, pretty balanced, but oh boi - level 3, I feel like there should be more checkpoints on it. I couldn't go any further, I mean this is not a smm2 kaizo, so I have beaten it after some struggle, but I realised that it gets annoying and boring quickly, when you are stuck on some level and can't beat it.

I really like level design overall, but it gets a bit boring, when stages are that long and enemy/obstacle variety isn't that big. But please do not change your level design, because it is fun, for me it lacks (like I said) checkpoints and few different obstacles (like for example, sometimes a moving platform instead of just a wall to jump with boost)

I won't rate graphics, because, there are very 'game dependent' and I am not a professionalist.

I think this game might be good for speedrunning.

Overall this game is pretty fun to play as game of its (mayby call it "beginner indie") level. Just few more obstacles or helpers, idk... moving platforms, boost pads, flying enemies or sth.

Good sequel, definitely better, than first game. Keep up, the good work :)

Btw, how to pause and get to main menu, from level (if it is even possible) ?

EDIT: Yesss, the hidden level, that's great! Big plus for that!   Ooh and I ralised that I haven't used enemy eating (nearly) at all, like... few times in tutorial and then, no more than 5, probably.

Thanks for the constructive feedback! :D I will definitely take this into consideration for the next installment in this series. (Also, unfortunately there's no way to pause and get to the main menu from a level, sorry. :/) I also really agree with the obstacle variety issue. I'll definitely make sure the 3rd game has plenty more different enemies and obstacles.

Thanks for reply :)

Very epic

I can't play this game

I tried playing in the browser, but it wouldn't load. I tried downloading it, but the mac security settings prevented me from opening it, so I tried to edit the security settings, but that requires an administer's username and password, and I don't know an administer's password. And finally, I tried downloading the webpage, but it would not load, even then.

You'll need to have your computer's administrator change the security settings in order to download/run this game. :/

(1 edit)

when I did that, it said "Polly The Frog 2 island Hopper is damaged and can't be opened", but that may be because my computer is old. it's an iMac from 2009 running OS X El Capitan.

hmmm, that could be the issue. I don't own a mac personally so I wasn't able to actually test the Mac build much outside of play testers. I could try getting one of my friends with a newer mac to test to see if that's the issue or not.

Ottimo gioco...complimenti
